This summer we at Fab Over Forty are obsessed with lips. It’s a fun, easy way to perk up a summer look without being time consuming and complicated – because who has time for that in the summer anyway, right?
So we decided it would be fun to go to the experts, top makeup artists and brands, and ask them to share with Fab Over Forty their favorite lip looks for summer. It was such a success, we decided to make it a week long series; The Summer Lip Look. We’re starting off with Tim Quinn, Celebrity Face Designer for Giorgio Armani
Tim tells us “I’m absolutely obsessed with Lip Maestro 300 this summer – I introduced it to my friend Eva Amurri when we did our Hollywood Launch – and loved the vintage yet modern “Roman Holiday” feel of the color – I mix it up with a pop of Flash Lacquer 300, which I often refer to as twinkle, to add a touch of luster –
The combo looks well on most any complexion.”
On the left is Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro 300, it like a combination of a velvet finish from a matte lipstick with the intensity of a lip lacquer.These are saturated with pigment and they last a long, long time without any drying. On the right is Flash Lacquer 300, which the Flash Lacquer glosses I spoke of a few weeks ago and they offer high shine. A great summer look!
